Mrs. Ruba was born in Australia and raised in Southern Asia as a missionary child. She has been married to her college sweetheart for over 30 years and has three girls at home who are all growing too rapidly. Mrs. Ruba graduated from Andrews University in 1985 with bachelor degrees in Elementary Education and Physical Education. She graduated from Indiana University in 1992 with a Master’s in Education. Teaching has been her passion for over 25 years in public, private, and Seventh-day Adventist Schools. For the past 16 years, she has focused on engaging students in current learning methodology at Adventist Christian Elementary. Mrs. Ruba has been an invited guest speaker to elementary teachers in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Indiana. She enjoys challenging students to strive for their dreams, and each student has an individual learning program.
